BACK UP FEST 2018 | DATE TBC

On Saturday 8th July 2017, we held our first ever Back Up festival at Cokethorpe school in West Oxfordshire. After the success of the event, we are pleased to announce the festival will be returning in the summer of 2018! We would love for you to join us again for more food, drink, live music and many more fun activities.

The idea of Back Up fest was born from one of our twice yearly youth advisory group weekends; our valued youth advisors developed the idea as a fun family day that is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Since then, we worked at making this idea a reality and after seeing it come to fruition this year, we are ready to make 2018’s fest even bigger and better.

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone in 2017’s Back Up fest – we’re so excited to be bringing this event back in 2018 and can’t wait to see you all there again.

“Our youth advisors are involved in designing the services we offer for children and young people and they make a real difference to what we do. We believe that the best way to support young people is to ask them how we should do this. The enthusiasm, ambition and creativity demonstrated by our advisors is invaluable and extremely influential to our under 18s services. They let us know what they want, and we support them to achieve these goals. We loved the idea of Back Up fest that they came up with and we can’t wait to see it become a reality!”

A note from Ella, our Under 18s Services Manager

“Samuel is very proud to be a Back Up youth advisor. He thoroughly enjoys spending time with the other youth advisors and helping to shape some of the services that Back Up provides. We are both delighted and excited to be involved in the first ever Back Up Fest and look forward to doing all we can to help and to see this fantastic idea come to fruition”
